International Students Housing Assistance (ISHA)

What does ISHA do?

ISHA has a variety of activities to achieve its goal.

First, each month we meet with SSH Utrecht to discuss the progress of their policy concerning the Short Stayers in order to improve housing conditions.

Second, we give information to Short Stayers when they have structural complaints about the SSH and have contacted us with these complaints.

Third, we investigate the opinion of Short Stayers using inquiries. We do this twice a year, in September and in February (when large groups of Short Stayers have settled in their rooms and are able to have formed their opinions about the quality of their housing).

You can contact ISHA when you have structural complaints concerning your room. We will investigate these complaints and discuss them with SSH Utrecht. The SSH Utrecht is there to solve the complaints, which will be monitored by ISHA.

Your e-mail and phone calls are of vital importance to improve not only your situation but also to improve the housing conditions for future tenants.
